Where do we even begin when talking about Kristin + Ian and their Wedding Day? They always say that weddings bring people together and it couldn’t be more true than it is with this wedding. I had known Kristin since Jr. High but had never really gotten the opportunity to really get to know her until her name popped up in my inbox and, well, here we are!
The story of Kristin and Ian is one of those cute little stories you can’t resist. The one that melts your heart and you want to tell everyone even if it’s not your story. Kristin and Ian had met years back but for some reason never connected. They had, however, managed to walk away with an inside joke involving a $5 bill. Fast forward a couple of years later and the right timing and Ian proposed to Kristin on what would you guess? A $5 bill! Do I sense a 3rd $5 bill in the future? Better have that piggy bank ready!
For their invitations they wanted to make use of their beautiful engagement photos taken by the super talented Natalie Spencer of Natalie Spencer Photography. We were definitely on board with this fresh and creative idea! It was a bit challenging to pull in the photos and keep the text legible with all the texture but we were successful in the end. We’ve even been told that some guests didn’t want to return their RSVP’s as they wanted to keep the photo (Kristin remedied this by promising she’d return them once she collected the information she needed. Heh!).
Of course when it came to the big day, Kristin and Ian wanted to pull their theme throughout the rest of their stationery and we did just that. Natalie had taken these super-cute photos of them holding heart cut outs and they were just screaming to be used as table numbers. It all came together beautifully; see for yourselves above!
